Honestly? It’s such a difficult concept for my suburban brain to grasp – that so many people don’t have something as basic as clean water to drink.

PD, thank for reminding me and giving me a way to do something about it.

Astounding what we take for granted, isn’t it? I will be praying for you, this cause, and everyone in the world today who can’t get even one sip of clean water.

i totally agree with you!
when i came back from my first visit to Africa i kept crying…about the water.

I wash dishes, wash clothes, flush, wash dogs, shower…have a swimming pool…wash cars…….with perfectly fine DRINKING WATER!

The Africans I stayed with were drinking, washing, etc in water that was full of bacteria and dirt and filth. One sip of it sent one of our team running for medications! They felt privileged to have a well on the base. Just to have access to water at all was a joy to them!!

Been involved with Blood:Water for a little while now – great organization. I keep a picture they sent me of a girl counting gerry cans in line at a newly finished well. What to me looks like an impossible situation is a relief to them. How spoiled I am by tap water!

I”ll be praying for you in your fasting today, and for Jesus> and Blood:Water.
